Ingredients

Scale

Protein and Vegetables

  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets

Pasta and Sauce

  • 8 oz penne or rotini pasta
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Seasonings and Toppings

  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking the chicken

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking the casserole later.
  2. Cook Chicken: In a skillet over medium heat, drizzle olive oil and season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Cook Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta well.
  4. Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, broccoli florets, bite-sized chicken pieces, and Alfredo sauce. Mix gently until all ingredients are evenly coated with sauce.
  5. Assemble Bake: Grease a baking dish lightly with oil or cooking spray. Pour the pasta mixture into the dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle the shredded Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  6. Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and the cheese has melted and turned golden brown.
  7. Serve: Remove from oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your creamy Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo Bake!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, use fresh minced garlic instead of garlic powder when seasoning the chicken.
  • You can substitute the chicken with shrimp or turkey if preferred.
  • Add more vegetables such as spinach, bell peppers, or mushrooms for additional nutrients and flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • When reheating leftovers, add a splash of milk or cream to restore creaminess.
